poeticislam:

When the year fades and comes to an end, we’re quick to make new resolutions-after all a new year arrives. What about the fact that we are blessed with a new day every morning? We are getting showered with new seconds, minutes, hours as we speak, so why don’t we change ourselves now, even if it is a tiny change-those tiny changes will turn into a huge positive change.
Don’t wait for next year-when you may not even live to see it. You’ll wake up tomorrow (insha’Allah) and you’ll have a chance to make some change in yourself, even if it is little-you can try and be a little more patient, or to better your relations with your family and friends-for Allah loves those who are patient. May we be of those people. Ameen.
